Go behind the scenes of the making of three animated films, from the initial concept to the creation of characters and sets, through animation and final editing. This is a unique opportunity to discover the richness of a creative process that often remains unseen, and to meet the artists behind these remarkable collaborative works. Presented in collaboration with the Bachelor’s Program in Animation Arts and Science (BASA) at Université Laval.
The session will be hosted by Nicolas Brault, Director of the School of Art, Université Laval.

Ève-Marie Grégoire
Ève-Marie Grégoire, born in Sherbrooke in 2003, holds a degree in visual arts from the Université de Sherbrooke and is completing her bachelor’s degree in Animation Arts and Science at Université Laval. During her animation studies, she specialized in 3D modeling and surfacing, using Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.

Charlie Guèvremont
Charlie Guèvremont, a Quebec City–based artist and filmmaker, specializes in stop-motion animation, 2D, and screenwriting. They are currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science of Animation at Université Laval. Blind Spot (2024), their first short film, was selected for official competition at the Regard Festival (2026) and won Best Animated Film at the FFEQ (2026). Amalgam (2026) is their graduation film.
