Toy Gun Bandit - Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec

After bragging about stealing from a convenience store, Félix is pulled in by his new friend Dave into a plan to rob a local bank. Hungry for recognition, he dives in without hesitation. But the thrill fades fast as things unravel, and the guns turn out to be all too real.

This is almost a true story.

Screening with director Rémi Saint-Michel and the film crew

Rémi St-Michel

After an early adulthood marked by backpacking trips, theater, and juggling, Rémi St-Michel put his life as a street performer on hold to focus on filmmaking, directing several short films that gained international recognition, such as Le Chevreuil, Une bombe au cœur, Zoé, and Petit Frère, which was selected for its world premiere at the 53rd Critics’ Week in Cannes. Faux Gun Bandit is his second feature film and by far his most personal. He wrote, directed, and edited the film himself.
