Noémie D. Leclerc

Noémie D. Leclerc is a Quebec-based filmmaker, author, and multidisciplinary artist. In 2018, at the age of 21, she published her first novel, Darlène, with Québec Amérique. The project, accompanied by its visuals and a soundtrack composed by singer-songwriter Hubert Lenoir, continues to influence a new generation of local artists. Her early work in the world of alternative music allowed her to develop a unique, modern style that is also in keeping with the Quebec tradition of direct cinema. La meilleure façon, c’est par accident is her first film.
